At 10.10 on 14th November 2020, two police officers rang the doorbell and asked to come in and if we could sit down. 

They then went on to explain that there had been a collision.

Martyn, my husband, and his friend had been hit by a car. They thought Martyn had died.

The noise that came from me and our girls was unrecognisable.

From that moment, our life stopped and changed forever. How would we go on?

The pain we felt and still feel is hard to describe. It is physical as well as emotional.
